Childrens Ministries

At Highland Baptist Church, the children are lovingly led and ministered to by a group of faithful adults. During regularly scheduled services, we offer age-graded ministries that are pertinent to kids.
Sunday School
The Sunday School hour has a class for every age group, 4 years old to 12th grade, where Bible stories, Bible verses, songs, and Biblical principles are taught.
Sunday Morning Jr. Church
During the Morning Worship Hour, a children's church is offered for those 4 years old to 3rd grade.
Sunday Evening Jr. Church
During the Sunday Evening Family Service, all children 4 years old to 3rd grade participate in a children's program.
Nursery
During every service a nursery is provided for infants through age 3 by a group of trained and screened workers.
AWANA
On Wednesday evenings, children 3 years old to 6th grade can enjoy AWANA. This is a kid's club with the goal of reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. They enjoy games, Bible lessons, Bible memory, and so much more.
Even the leaders get involved in Silly Hair Night!
Summer and Winter Camps
We are now sending in registrations for summer camps. Please call the church office for details.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer we offer a specially themed Vacation Bible School. The Children enjoy games, crafts, bible stories, even hay wagon and go-cart rides. Please check back here next summer for more information!
