Mike Chodan - Senior Pastor
Pastor Chodan came to know the Lord at the age of eight, and as a young man he felt God's calling him into the ministry. He went on from high school to receive his bachelor's degree in pastoral studies from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in 1980, and his master of divinity degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in Lansdale, PA in 1985. After serving as an assistant in other churches, he became the Sr. Pastor of Highland Baptist Church in 1994.
Matt Kruse - Assistant Pastor
Pastor Matt was saved at the age of four, and the Lord called him from a young age to serve Him in full-time ministry. He received a bachelor's degree in church ministries from Clearwater Christian College in 2000, and his master of divinity degree in 2004 from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN. He served as an Assistant Pastor in Minnesota until March of 2005 when the Lord led him to serve at Highland Baptist Church.
Paul Schieber - OWLS Ministry
Pastor Paul was saved at the age of nine at an after school Bible club. He was baptised at the age of twelve. He attended Bob Jones University as a business student. While attending Bob Jones, he believed the Lord was calling him into youth ministry and thus changed his major to youth ministries. He attended Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in Lansdale, Pa and graduated in 1983. During seminary, he student pastored at Calvary Baptist Church in Elkins Park, Pa. Upon graduation, he started Grace Baptist Church in Harbourton, NJ. He later pastored Heritage Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Prior to coming to Highland, he pastored Ashville Bible Chapel. Presently, Pastor Paul heads up our Seniors Ministry (OWLS) through visitation, spiritual guidance, support, and activities. He also coordinates the Junior Church ministry.
